Praise the Lord, we have made it to the year 2023! For many, the end of the year usually ends in reflection and the new year starts a renewed vision and hope for the future. We are excited to see what God is going to do in this new year at Foundations. Our students have grown since the start of the school year and the midpoint makes that evident. As we build on what was started before the new year, we hope that you will continue the journey of the work that is taking place at Foundations. | |
December is such a fun filled month at Foundations. Along with the rest of the world, Christmas is a BIG deal. Students get to participate in festive activities surrounding the holiday and engage with one another in the unique spirit that only Christmas brings. It is an honor and privilege that through Foundations our students get to hear and know the real reason for the season. The story of the birth of Jesus is told to some of our students in detail like they have not yet heard before and that is enough to give God praise. Teachers put together a beautiful program, filled with the story of the greatest gift given to us from God. Our 3T, 3K, and 4K classes recited poems, sang songs and shared verses that they have committed to memory about the birth of Jesus. Join us in praying that this message of a Savior being born to save us from our sins be a seed that would be planted in each heart of our children and those that gathered to hear. "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
